Installation and construction of biofuel boiler houses in the city of Põltsamaa 1.5 MW+ 3 MW
Description
A hot water boiler with a grate hearth intended for biofuel was installed in the boiler house, with a rated capacity of 1.5 MW at 55% fuel humidity. The maximum operating pressure of the hot water boiler is = 6 bar and the maximum permitted operating temperature = 110 °C.
A 3MW gas boiler was installed as the second boiler (not in constant use). The boiler house works fully automatically, including checking and changing the fuel combustion modes when power and fuel quality change. The remote monitoring of the technology was connected to the control center of Adven Eesti AS.
Fuel is received in the fuel warehouse directly from the fuel truck using a screw conveyor, and the fuel warehouse can hold 250 m3 of fuel, which is a 4-day reserve at maximum heat load.
In the event of a power outage, an emergency generator was installed in the boiler house to stop the boiler house safely.
