Rakke Metsa biofuel boiler house reconstruction
Description
Within the framework of this project, a hot water boiler with a grate hearth intended for biofuel was installed in the boiler house of Rakke township, with a nominal capacity of 500 kW at 50% fuel humidity. The maximum operating pressure of the hot water boiler is = 6 bar and the maximum permitted operating temperature = 110 °C.
The boiler house works fully automatically, and the remote monitoring of the technology was connected to the control center of SW Energia OÜ.
Fuel is received at the fuel storage directly from the fuel truck using a screw conveyor. The fuel store holds 180 pm3 of fuel, a one-week reserve at maximum heat load.
In the event of a power outage, an emergency generator was installed in the boiler house to stop the boiler house safely.
