Today, in the field of heat energy powered by solid biofuels, we have grown to become one of the largest builders of boiler plants and cogeneration plants in the Baltics, having installed a total of over 500 MW of heat and electricity production plants powered by renewable biofuels. Our activities are mainly aimed at the field of industrial heat energy, which consists of various industrial and heat production companies that need heat and electricity for their production.

Tamult’s biggest projects are the combustion systems for burning biofuel at the Valka and Rezekne cogeneration plants in the Republic of Latvia, with capacities of 12 and 14 MW, respectively.

In Estonia, Tamult has designed and installed, for example, the combined heat and power plant located in the city of Rakvere. As a trend setter in renewable energy, Tamult has designed and installed flue gas condensers and filter systems for the efficient use of waste heat in reconstructed boiler houses in Jüri, Valga, Keila, Haapsalu and Jõgeva cities. Tamult has built district heating boiler plants in several small towns and settlements in the Baltics and Scandinavia.

Many projects are currently being started in the field of heat energy, which require technology that helps to produce heat as efficiently as possible. Currently, there is no more cost-effective and environmentally sound solution than locally sourced forestry waste for district heating boiler houses in smaller cities, settlements and industries.
