Today, in the field of heat energy powered by biofuels, we have grown to become one of the largest builders of boiler houses and cogeneration plants in the Baltics, having installed a total of over 500 MW of heat and electricity production plants powered by renewable biofuels. Our activities are mainly aimed at the field of industrial heat energy, which consists of various industrial and heat production companies that need heat and electricity for their production.

AS Tamult is one of the best companies producing biofuel combustion technology in the world and has won several tenders for the modernization of boiler houses financed by the European Union, both in Estonia and elsewhere in Europe. Tamult’s biggest projects are the pre-fireplaces for burning biofuel at the Valka and Rezekne cogeneration plants in the Republic of Latvia, with capacities of 12 and 14 MW, respectively.

In Estonia, Tamult has designed and installed, for example, a combined heat and power plant located in the city of Rakvere. As a trend setter in renewable energy, Tamult has designed and installed flue gas condensers and filter systems for the efficient use of waste heat when burning biofuels in reconstructed boiler houses in Jüri, Valga, Keila, Haapsalu and Jõgeva. Tamult has built district heating boiler houses in several small towns and settlements in Scandinavia.

Many projects are currently being started in the field of heat energy, which require technology that helps to produce heat as efficiently as possible. Currently, there is no more cost-effective solution than biofuel for district heating boiler houses in smaller cities, settlements and industries.
